background: Jusuphs mother became pregnant when she was in class 7. She worried about the reaction of her parents to her pregnancy, so she decided to rather run away than to tell them. During the lonely birth she lost a lot of blood and passed away. A neighbour found Jusuph crying, wrapped in a blanket. He asked a lot of people until he found the family of Jusuphs mother and luckily a brother took him as his son, so Jusuph grew up living at his uncles house.

 

Finally our big boy found a sponsor and joined Blue Sky School!

background: Veronicas mother was working for an eldery couple when she became pregnant. The father didn't want the baby and turned away from her. After giving birth Veronicas mother also decided to leave, but luckily the eldery couple could take care for Veronica the first years until they brought her to Fruitful.

background: Georges mother is suffering from a mental disease and is therefore not able to care for George and his brother anymore. His dream is to become a pilot so he can help his mother and his brother (if the pilot plan doesn't work out, becoming a football star is also not bad, he told us)

George was sponsored in June 2017 and finally reunited with his best friend Daudi at Blue Sky!

background: Nancys father passed aways after her younger brother was born. Her mother married a new man in 2015, but he refused to take care of her children. She asked her brother for help, who already has 6 children on his own, but he agreed. He is trying hard but is only able to send two of his kids to school, so he asked us if we can take Nancy and her younger brother Wisdom (who visits our Baby Class) to Fruitful. Additionally his room is not big enough for 8 children and he can't feed them all. Unfortunately we are also struggling with space and we are only able to offer them our lessons. As soon as we have more room, we will take them to Fruitful.

 

Nancys dream is to help people, that is why she wants to become a doctor one day.

Name: Deborah Daudi

background: Deborah has never met her father. Her mother suffers from HIV and can't take care of her 2 daughters anymore. Deborahs older sister already got sponsored, but Deborah has to help her mother at home, because she is in a very bad condition. The mother already came to Fruitful and begged us to promise that we will take good care of her daughters when she passes away.

Deborah got a nice suprise at the end of June 2017. She also joined the Blue Sky School!

background: Daudi doesn't know his father and his mother suffered from apoplexy. Since that time one side of her body is paralyzed and she is not able to care for her 5 sons anymore. Fruitful took care of all of them.

background: After Veronicas birth her mother had an accident and both of her legs had to be amputated. They all moved to Veronicas grandmother but she can't take care of the mother and her five children.

background: Loveness father died of a disease but the father's family blamed Loveness' mother and attacked her over and over again. One day, they forced her to run away but to leave one kid to them. Since then Loveness lives with her aunts family, but doesn't feel really comfortable because they don't treat her well. We would like to take her to Fruitful or send her to Blue Sky but unfortunately we are not able to do that at the moment. When we asked her why she wants to go to Blue Sky so bad, she told us that she is longing for someone to take care for her.

A dream came true! Loveness got sponsored and can finally go to Blue Sky School!
